Since 2011, French Restaurant Week -- in partnership with OpenTable -- has been helping you stuff your face at the many participating bistros and brasseries across the City. This special week offers customers the ability to enjoy prix-fixe dinner menu options (and in some cases lunch); there are three menu options at various price points: $17.89, $38.00, and $178.90 (for that special occasion). So bust out the beret and #EatDrinkBeFrench!

A perfect way to honor Independence Day. The 41st annual Macy's firework celebration returns again to the East River -- it's sure to showcase over-the-top pyrotechnics and a slew of musical performers and other celebrity appearances. This year's lineup includes Jennifer Lopez, Brad Paisley, Charlie Puth, Hailee Steinfeld, Lady Antebellum, and Sheryl Crow! And don't worry if you have to stay in, the show will be broadcast live on NBC!

Who will claim hot dog supremacy this year? After putting down 70 dogs in just ten minutes last year, Joey Chestnut will be out to defend his title and keep the Mustard Belt firmly around his waist. Come out and watch Joey and 2016's female champ, Miki Sudo, hold it down this year on the corner of Surf and Stillwell. And don't worry if you want make it out to Coney Island -- the event will be broadcast live on ESPN!

Come out a see members of some of the most popular shows, both on Broadway and off, perform some of their biggest hits of the year -- all outdoors in Midtown Manhattan! Thursday's show will include acts from STOMP, Groundhog Day, Wicked, as well as The Phantom of the Opera. Don't worry if you can't make it out this week -- Broadway in Bryant Park will return each Thursday into the beginning of August.

A new outdoor film screening series has come to downtown Manhattan, overlooking the one-of-a-kind Oculus, and all for free. Each of the movies being shown was curated by those at the Tribeca Film Festival and all are based in our very own New York City! There are showings all summer long, so no sweat if you can't make it there this week. This weekend's showings: Serendipity on Friday and Night at the Museum on Saturday.
