This three-week festival includes group dance lessons from 6:30 - 7:15 PM daily, with live music kicking off at 7:30 PM and going into the night! Though 'swing' is in its name, the festival boasts acts from disco to ballroom to salsa and more! Events are hosted in Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center, which can fill up quickly -- book early and try to hit the dance floor by 6 PM. And don't forget June 29 and July 8 each include an hour-and-a-half of silent disco, too!

One of the most unique music venues on the planet, Bounce Boat is back with another over-the-top event on the waters surrounding Manhattan! Come sail around NYC on a one-of-a-kind cruise with international sensation, Fetty Wap, with more than 1,000 other party-goers.  The ship boasts five dance floors, four bars, two balconies, and even a rooftop lounge. This party is not to be missed!


June 30 - July 3

Fire up the grill and get outdoors this 4th of July Weekend to celebrate America's Independence Day! Whether you're staying around the City or heading out of town, have some fun in the sun and relax this long weekend. Don't forget to keep an eye skyward for the many, many fireworks displays going on all weekend long!

Now in its 20th season, this outdoor music series showcases local and global talent, both established and emerging. Shows include a range of genres, both live and electronic. The July 1 lineup includes Jackmaster, DJ EZ, Tiger & Woods, Shanti Celeste, and VHVL. Long Island City residents are eligible for FREE admission with proof of residency (first-come, first-served), so don't forget an ID!

Since 1971, the International African Arts Festival has celebrated traditional and contemporary expression of African cultural art forms in an event that today draws over 75,000 visitors annually from all over Brooklyn, NYC, and the world! Come out for the music, food, and African Markplace, which includes everything from jewelry, urban fashion, t-shirts, and body oils to imported African fabric, artifacts and furniture, original paintings, hand-carved marble sculptures and much more!

The global party series HYTE returns to New York City for its second installment of celebrations this 4th of July Weekend! Set against the backdrop of the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty, this two stage, day & night festival will bring some of the hottest musical names to Governors Island: Richie Hawtin, Maceo Plex, Marcel Dettmann, and Chris Liebing back-to-back with Speedy J, among others. This event hosts the who’s-who of house and techno heavyweights.
